Who it is for

For people who look up and realize hours have passed

Catnap is designed for sustained screen work where ordinary alarms quickly become noise.

01

Deep workers

Writers, designers, developers, researchers, and creators who need long focus without losing recovery time.

02

Meeting-heavy days

People whose schedules change throughout the day and need reminders that can pause or become less intrusive.

03

Long screen sessions

Anyone who wants a practical cue to rest their eyes, move their body, and return with a clearer mind.

A better timer

Your reminder should follow attention, not the clock

A fixed countdown keeps running through lunch, locked screens, and time away. Catnap counts active use, pauses when the computer is not being used, and begins a fresh cycle after a long absence.

01

Count

Only active screen use advances the work cycle.

02

Pause

Locked, sleeping, and idle time are left out.

30m

Reset

After 30 minutes away, the next session starts fresh.

Core experience

Enough structure to help, enough flexibility to stay out of the way

Catnap adapts to the kind of day you are having instead of forcing every session into one rigid routine.

01

Flexible timing

Choose work, break, and later-reminder durations that fit your own pace.

02

Context-aware modes

Meeting mode pauses reminders. Immersive mode replaces the full-screen break with a gentle notification.

03

Rest that feels intentional

Use full-screen templates for eye rest, slow breathing, stretching, or a quiet pause across every connected display.

04

Private recovery feedback

Review today and the last seven days to see whether you are leaving enough space between focused sessions.

Fits the moment

One rhythm does not fit every workday

Switch modes from the menu bar without rebuilding your settings.

1

Normal rhythm

A full-screen break appears when active work time reaches your chosen limit.

2

Meeting mode

Timing and reminders pause until you return to normal rhythm.

3

Immersive mode

A quiet notification protects concentration while still giving you a recovery cue.

Privacy promise

Your work rhythm belongs to you

Catnap works without an account and keeps recovery feedback on your device.

Support

Clear answers when the rhythm feels off

Most behavior can be understood or changed directly from Catnap settings.

01Why did the timer stop?

Locked, sleeping, idle, and excluded-app time do not count. Meeting mode also pauses the timer.

02Why did a new cycle begin?

When you return after being away for 30 minutes or longer, Catnap treats it as a new work session.

03Can I avoid a full-screen break?

Yes. Choose Immersive mode for a gentle notification, or Meeting mode to pause reminders.

04How do I remove recovery data?

Open Settings, choose Recovery, and select Clear recovery data. The records are removed from the current device.

For additional help, use the support link on the Catnap product page and include the app version, system version, and a screenshot of the issue.
